Finding the perfect snack to hit all of your cravings may feel impossible to do. Though homemade Buttered Popcorn Sugar Cookies can be a great substitute, if you’re looking for an easy, limited-prep snack to make for yourself or for your guests, Tiktoker @happytummy_702 might have exactly what you’re looking for.

Taking to her account, the Las Vegas recipe developer — whose bio notes her name to be Suzy Hendrix — revealed a sweet and salty twist on Chex mix that probably won’t last long around your house. And, you don’t need many ingredients to make it happen.

Calling the mix “so addictive,” she first begins by pouring Honey Comb cereal, Crispix cereal, pretzels, Bugles chips, and Fritos chips onto a sheet pan. Afterwards, she melts a half stick of butter, adds 1/3 cup of vegetable oil, 1/4 cup of corn syrup, 1/3 cup of sugar, and 1 tablespoon of shoyu to a pot until the sugar has dissolved. While the video does note you can substitute the corn syrup out for honey if you’d like, the one ingredient she stands firm on is using shoyu sauce — not traditional soy sauce — to make this recipe because it is the “clutch ingredient” of this mixture.

After the sauce is ready, @happytummy_702 pours it over the cereal and chip mixture on the sheet pan before mixing it together and topping with a half bottle of another star ingredient: furikake seasoning. Revealing that the Japanese seaweed seasoning is “so good on everything,” she then places the pan in the oven at 250°F for one hour, stirring every 15 minutes to ensure it’s crisp all the way through. Once you’re done, you’ll have a crunchy, sweet, and salty snack that friends and family will be begging you to make every single week.

Though this is a very delicious way to use furikake seasoning, if you’re looking for other ways to put the seasoning to use, try making Furikake Popcorn or Corn on the Cob with Furikake to test out her claim that it pairs well with everything.
