Love Hipstamatic for the iPhone? Like taking food photos? Then you should check out the the Loftus Foodie Lens and Film Pak inspired by London-based food photo artist David Loftus. It was released in December and it is “crafted to produce luscious food shots with incredible clarity in the center and blurring of the edges.”

After a recent and unfortunate incident involving a cup of coffee and my laptop, I made my way into the Apple store and ended up walking out after purchasing a new iPhone. For me, the best part of my new phone is the faster, higher quality camera lens. Playing with it renewed my interest in Hipstamatic and brought me into contact with my new favorite lens pack.

I love the soft lighting and sharp focus at the center of the image combined with hazy edges and thin black border. With the Loftus Foodie lens I am back to snapping photos of my coffee instead of spilling it – for now.
