Keep It Cheap: Fruit + Herb + Water = Done

Even though you can ask your guests to bring alcohol, I always feel a little lame asking folks to contribute, especially when I can throw a great feast on my own. Alcohol can be a large expense, so if you're looking to cut costs and spend your dough on the food, try this simple formula for a refreshing dinner party sipper.

There are roughly 1.2 million different recipes on the internet for flavored water. They are as delicious as they are easy to make, but for some reason, making them on your own can be a little scary.

To make your own, forget searching through Pinterest! Even though you'll find delicious things, you'll get sucked down the internet rabbit hole and waste a few hours finding what seems like the perfect one.

To make a drink that will leave your guests happy and filled without breaking the bank, just stick to this simple formula:

2 cups Fresh Fruit + 1/2 cup Bruised Herbs + 1 gallon of Water = DONE!

It's easy to remember, and easy to improvise. Have a little more? Add it in! Have a little less? Folks will live! Pick things fresh from the garden, farmer's market or your local grocery, just pick what looks best, is most ripe and smells like fruit and herbs and you'll never go wrong!
