Kellogg’s Just Released Froot Loops-Flavored Jelly Beans So Get Ready for a Nostalgic Easter
Sugary cereal is a one-stop nostalgia trip. Fill a bowl with colorful O’s and you’re right back in elementary school, scraping knees and learning long division. If you’ve grown up and moved on from sugary cereal to more adult-appropriate breakfast fare, why not indulge this Easter? It’s the perfect holiday for consuming too much candy, and a new Froot Loops candy has appeared on the scene with time to spare.
We’re already been blessed with Froot Loops Gummies and Froot Loops Candy Canes, and now you can enjoy the cereal’s signature flavor and colors in jelly bean form. Made by the undisputed sweet treat experts, Galerie Candy, and licensed by Kellogg’s, they are sure to be a fun addition to any cereal lover’s Easter basket.
As someone who has not been lucky enough to taste Froot Loop gummies, I just have one minor concern. Will the different colors of jelly beans be different fruit flavors? Like most “fruity” cereals, Froot Loops is just one flavor sporting different color O’s, almost fooling you into thinking they each taste like a different fruit. But they don’t. They all taste like fruit punch, an indistinguishable mixture of sweet fruitiness.
This brings up some important questions. What do the jelly beans taste like? Are they all one flavor with different colors (decidedly weirder with candy than with cereal) or did they separate out the flavors for each color? And if so, do they still taste like the Froot Loops we know and love? Also, can I eat them for breakfast? I’ll just have to pick some up at the store to find out!
