In a world of throwbacks, remakes, and remixes, it really seems to take something special for there to be a hit these days. Whether it’s music, movies, or television, pop culture is prevalent in our day-to-day lives, and the lines drawn between entertainment and reality are becoming increasingly blurred. Now, when something special comes along, our access to it is infinite and the endorphin rush is almost instantaneous.

Beginning in 2023, fans of the Friends television series can experience that endorphin rush exclusively at Central Perk Coffeehouse, a modern-day coffeehouse inspired by the fictional Central Perk from the show. Featuring a line of artisanal coffees made with the highest-quality premium Arabica beans, you’re going to want to check it out.

The idea comes from a collaboration between Warner Bros. Themed Entertainment and CenPer Holdings, LLC. The companies worked together to gather industry experts from the coffee, specialty food and beverage, hospitality, and entertainment worlds — including Top Chef Tom Colicchio — to make the iconic coffeeshop a reality.

The (kind of) new Central Perk Coffeehouse will open its first location sometime next year with the same heart and soul as the beloved one from the series. So if you ever wanted to take a break and enjoy the company of your friends over coffee and good eats like your favorite ’90s characters, your time is coming.

While the opening date has yet to be announced, fans can immediately get their hands on some coffee now with the launch of Central Perk Coffee (offering up three exclusive roasts featuring the highest-quality premium Arabica beans available). The “How You Doin?” medium roast, “Pivot Blend” medium/dark roast, and “We Were on a Coffee Break” dark roast can be shipped directly to consumers through a customizable coffee subscription service.

Central Perk Coffee is available now through the website, with the first 6,000 subscribers receiving a complimentary collectable can of “How You Doin’?” coffee. For updates on the coffeehouse, you can stay tuned to their site. And if you’re looking for something to hold you over, this coffee cake with brown sugar-cinnamon streusel is the perfect dessert for the upcoming apple season. And for the ice cream lovers out there, this coffee ice cream will help cool you down during these final hot summer days of the season.
