Food52 Cyber Monday deals

Cyber Monday usually signals the last big sale of the year, and stores or brands that rarely host sales usually give in to the season and slash prices. Cast in point: Food52. The site rarely has sales, but trust me — this one is good

During Food52’s Cyber Monday sale, you can score 20% off almost everything sitewide and this discount can be stacked on top of existing sale items for extra savings. There’s also free shipping on orders $99+. Certain brands are excluded, like Staub, Zwilling, and Le Creuset (although they’re having their own sales).

And I’m not just saying that Food52’s sale is good because I previously worked there as its market editor. No, the sales are particularly great because the site has exclusive collabs and works with a lot of artisans, so even the most practical and useful pieces are unique and make for great gifts for yourself or a loved one. Where else would you find an ombre set of nonstick skillets? Or a ceramic dinnerware collab with a studio that makes pieces for world-renowned restaurants? Or serveware handmade by artisans in South Africa?

Here are the most unique kitchen finds — many of which would be great gifts — during Food52’s rare Cyber Monday sale.

Handmade in South Africa by no fewer than 15 artists and artisans, this 3-piece servingware set by Wonki Ware is made to be the centerpiece of any kitchen table. Each one features a different design using lace and local clay, and there's a natural variation in colors for a truly unique look. Technically they’re safe in the dishwasher, but we’d only wash these beauties by hand.

For kids who love to cook, this cute apron from Food52’s in-house brand FiveTwo is right up their alley. It has generous pockets just like the grown-up version (although without the built-in pot holders for obvious reasons), and can be tossed into the washing machine when needed. Named one of Oprah’s Favorite Things this year, this ergonomic spice grinder would be a great gift for yourself or a loved one. It’s especially easy on the hands because there’s no grinding action needed like with traditional grinders — adjust the grind size on the spice canister, pop it in the grinder, and press a button for freshly ground spices.

If food storage containers aren’t microwaveable, we don’t want it. Thankfully, these colorful and versatile containers that made it onto our Kitchn Essentials list are perfectly safe for the microwave (and the dishwasher, and the freezer). They nest for convenient storage and come with matching lids (although the lids are not microwave-friendly).
