How To Make Basque Cheesecake

Biscoff cookies are something I can never quite get enough of. Even though I consider them to be perfect on their own (and even enjoyed as a spread), they are also designed for being the central ingredient in epic desserts, like air fryer Biscoff cheesecake or even brioche-style donuts.

Now, of course, you are free to wait for this snack to be passed out on your next flight out of town, but if that isn’t happening anytime soon, there’s a way to enjoy them right at home — and do it as it’s mixed into another delicious dessert you most likely love: cheesecake.

Bridging together tantalizing caramel and spice flavored Biscoff cookies with the traditional taste of cheesecake, you won’t even have to turn the oven on with these deliciously Biscoff cheesecake bars. The beauty of this no-bake treat shared by food blogger Fitwaffle Kitchen on Instagram? It only requires five simple ingredients.

The cheesecake bars begin with creating the base of cake by crushing Biscoff cookies in a food processor before blending with melted unsalted butter. You’ll then add a blend of room-temperature cream cheese, Biscoff cookie spread, and icing sugar before topping with another layer of Biscoff spread and the remaining crushed Biscoff cookie crumbs. Place the finished product into the refrigerator for at least three hours to chill and set before being sliced into bars and enjoying.

One of the best parts about this dessert is that those squares can be easily taken to-go to work or school for a sweet afternoon snack — no special container or utensils required. And who doesn’t appreciate simplified snacking?
