If you’re not sure what to make for Halloween this year, give meatloaf a try. Or “feetloaf,” we should say. That’s, right — the latest “it” food to make for spooky appetizers at this year’s Halloween party is meatloaf that looks like feet, complete with the the most terrifying toenails. I’m sorry, but this is actually a real thing.

The feetloaf photo was posted by Twitter user Richard Wilson, a Tulsa rapper who is known as Lil Rich Aka Crash. The original photo has gotten nearly 28,000 likes and has been retweeted about 9,000 times. So, it’s pretty popular.

How is it made? It’s basically a cooked meatloaf for the feet and ankles, with onions as the white toenails and on top of the ankle, as if it were a bone. To make it even more gruesome, you can cover the ankle with red sauce, like marinara or ketchup, to resemble dripping blood. (Ewww.)

Feet not your thing? You can also go with the “Ratloaf,” which is a meatloaf that looks like well, a rat. And it’s pretty nasty — especially as you watch the center ooze out liquid mush when you cut right down the middle. Guts on guts, oh my!

Whichever you choose, you know you’ll creep out your friends and family at the Halloween table. And if you aren’t into the whole scary meatloaf thing just yet (and we don’t really blame you), you can always just order in pizza on Halloween night. No spookiness there — just delicious, gooey cheese and sauce to make Halloween so much tastier. Yeah, on second thought, why don’t we just all do that?
