Remember when you could make your dad a piece of macaroni art and call it a Father’s Day gift? Yeah, that was a while ago. And unless you’re a pro-level potter, a homemade gift will probably not do enough to show your dad how much he means to you. (Although, if you’re a stellar baker, definitely go ahead and bake him something!) You can, however, give him a homemade gift that someone else made for him. We’re clearly talking about Etsy. So here goes: Here are 10 of the sweetest, most thoughtful gifts (for $50 or less) that someone else will make for you.

1. Literature Rocks Glass, $15 at WellTold

This curated shop sells a few different rocks glasses featuring quotes and references to classic literature. We’re partial to this Moby Dick option. And the Sherlock Holmes one. And the one for A Tale of Two Cities.

2. Pour Over Coffee Set, from $50 at IronAndSprout

Your dad may be handy enough to make this himself, but chances are he didn’t. So get one for him and show him the fine art that is pour-over coffee.

3. Match Striker, $20 at CeramicSense

For the dad who likes playing with fire (responsibly!), this little guy is made of folded stoneware, and your mom won’t hate having it around. It doesn’t come with the matches, though, but the seller suggests Diamond Strike Anywhere matches.

4. iPad Stand, $48 at petrifieddesign

Dads and their tech, right? If yours can’t cook without his beloved iPad, get him one of these cute stands. This way, he’ll be able to follow along without having to worry about spilling red sauce all over his device.

5. Salt and Pepper Set with Lid, $39 at Vivaljo

Help dad spice things up (sorry, but he’ll love this dad joke!) with these concrete salt cellars. He can use them to store different types of finishing salts or, really, any of his favorite seasonings.

6. Men’s Taco Shirt, $15 at CrazyDogTshirts

Speaking of dad jokes …

7. Wooden Herb and Leaf Scraper, $16 at ShopCollinGarrity

This wooden tool is a giant step up from those less-stylish plastic ones on the market. It’s handmade from either cherry, walnut, or maple and can double as a bowl or cutting board scraper.

8. Reusable Produce Bags, $22 for eight at TeeDino

If your dad is the one who does the grocery shopping, he’ll love that these reusable muslin bags will make him less wasteful. (Seriously, why do people take a plastic bag just for three tomatoes?) Each bag has a little window, which helps with air flow and allows your dad to see what’s what.

9. Personalized Magnet, $24 at KitAtlas

A fridge without personalized magnet is barely even a fridge. This artist will take a pic of your dad (or one of yourself!) and use it as a guide to create a nearly identical replica — in magnet form.

10. Leather Chef Knife Sheath, from $45 at SquirrelyCo

Planning a family vacation for later this summer? Get dad this leather knife sheath and he’ll be able to bring his favorite chef’s knife to the Airbnb beach house.
