The Best Etsy Finds to Get You in the Halloween Spirit
It’s early October and if you’re not in the Halloween spirit just yet, it’s time to get there. You only have a few weeks before the big night, and you might as well make the most of the season!
Where better to get inspired than on Etsy? We browsed the site to find the very best Halloween stuff (think: spooky or kooky!) to help get you in the mood. And actually, some of these finds can be used long after Halloween — or even Thanksgiving.
Start shopping now so that you don’t get any boos from your friends and family for being a Halloween grinch!
1. Macabre Tumbler Glass Set, $48 for four at countercouturedesign
Serve any sort of concoction, er, cocktail, in these macabre rocks glasses. The moth, scarab beetle, skull, and anatomical heart are platinum foil, which makes them sparkle ever so creepily when the light hits them.
2. Detective Sleuth Mystery Crime Scene Printable Banner, $13 at arpartyprintables
Turn your breakfast nook into an official crime scene with this printable banner. You don’t even have to plan ahead: You can download it instantly, print it yourself, and string up the pieces in a matter of minutes.
3. Rose Gold Geometric Skull Concrete Planter, from $24 each at EMSAYstudio
If you’ve been looking for a good way to spook-ify your succulents, you’ve found it. (If you haven’t been, that’s an oversight on your part!) This planter comes in plain concrete, rose gold, white, gold, and, our favorite, black.
4. Modern Ceramic Candleholder, from $29 each at KinaCeramics
These handmade black porcelain candleholders look like they’re eerily melting and come in a few different sizes. We get that they’re not exactly inexpensive, but firmly believe that just one on a coffee table would make a big impact.
5. Mini Concrete Pumpkins, $21 for three OpusStoneStudio
In case you couldn’t tell, concrete is still trendy — especially for Halloween. We’d actually even use these as a centerpiece for Thanksgiving or a during fall dinner party. The set comes with one black, white, and gray pumpkin, but you can also request all of the same color.
6. Ramen Baby Outfit, $49 at BuzzBearStudio
How stinking cute is this? It even says so right on the costume. Put your baby (or a friend’s baby?) in this and snap some pics — this way, you’ll have something good to put in a high school graduation slideshow.
7. Halloween Apothecary Jar Labels, $15 for nine at ImportantPaper
Don’t get us wrong — we love a printable on Etsy (see above), but when it comes to stickers we want someone else to go through the trouble of printing them on special paper. Most jar labels on Etsy are downloads; these, however, get printed and mailed to you. And they’re pretty darn cool looking. Put them on some empty and cleaned-out bottles you already have in your recycling bin and you’ve got some inexpensive decorations.
8. Wooden Spoon Set, $25 for three at BlessingFalls
What else are you supposed to use to make your pumpkin pies? The designs on these spoons are burned into the wood by hand and show a softer, sweeter side of Halloween and fall. We’re actually getting a set to give as a hostess gift for Friendsgiving.
9. Free Candy Doormat, $35 at NinetoWineDesign
This doormat speaks the truth. That is all.
10. Candy Corn Halloween Garland, $24 at FeltedFig
We’ve seen plenty of candy corn-inspired garland before, but we’ve never seen any with felt pieces that actually look like the real deal. (They’re usually just in the same colors or cut out of wood). We support stringing these up on a mantel or even around your porch.
