I remember back when the only reason I knew of the brand Dash was because of their internet-famous waffle maker. I was already intrigued just based on that, but since then, I’ve come to learn that they carry a seemingly endless number of fun and functional gadgets designed to make each cooking experience more exciting. Many of these tools are single-function, so the trick is to find one or two that you know you’ll get tons of use from. Whether you prefer to make your own ice cream at home, wish you could enjoy theater-style popcorn from the comfort of your own couch, or you want fresh-squeezed orange juice every morning, Dash likely has a product for it that won’t take up too much counter space. Many of our staffers here at Kitchn are loyal fans, which is why we thought we’d compile their favorite Dash picks into one post. And, because all of the items are budget-friendly, there’s really no harm in giving any of these gadgets a go.

If you have the space for a toaster oven, we highly suggest snagging this multifunctional little appliance, which quickly became a hit among our readers. Contributor Stella uses it to toast all kinds of things, from bagels to nuts to slices of artisanal bread, and says the tiny oven holds an impressive amount. "Other features I love are the crumb tray (which keeps my counters spick and span) and mini oven rack, which are dishwasher-safe for an easy bi-weekly cleanup," she wrote. "Oh, and the little window lets me monitor what’s going on inside in real time. Unlike a traditional toaster, where the doneness of your slice is a total mystery until it pops out, I have total control over when to retrieve my slice if I did happen to miscalculate and turn the knob a little too far."

It wouldn't be a Dash product roundup if we didn't feature their cult-favorite mini waffle maker. Contributor Stephanie thinks everyone should own one, writing, "It’s tiny, so it’s wildly easy to pull it out of a cabinet or even a drawer. It also makes waffles that are super crispy on the outside and soft on the inside — in a matter of minutes." Other staffers couldn't agree more. Kelsey, director of brand partnerships, says the waffle maker is particularly great for people with kids and super easy to clean, while sales coordinator April loves the heart-shaped version for making both adorably shaped waffles and crispy rice cakes. Shopping director Jada also loves that there aren't a ton of buttons on her waffle maker; there's simply an indicator light that tells you when the waffle is done and ready to enjoy.

Make no mistake, microwave popcorn is a delicious movie night snack. But if you want that authentic theater taste, look no further than Dash's $20 popcorn maker. Managing commerce editor Tamara loves the machine's compact size, especially when you consider that it can make up to 16 cups of popcorn at once. "Best of all, this gadget uses hot air instead of oil to make popcorn, so it’s a lot healthier than many other kinds of popcorn," she wrote. "It’s hard to know what’s exactly in the bagged stuff at the store, so I love that I can control what’s going into my movie snack." After adding your kernels, all you have to do is press the "start" button, and you'll have fresh, hot popcorn in minutes.

It can be difficult to find the right dish rack for your exact space and needs, but if there's one drying rack that's probably good for most kitchens, it's the Dash SmartStore rack. Not only does it look super sleek, but this sinkside essential also holds a lot and even has separate utensil and wine glass compartments, plus a handy drainer. "The SmartStore’s drain tray catches the rinse water, and any excess runs right back into the sink with help from its built-in spout," wrote Britt, our sister site's Best List editor. "Droplets of water that don’t make it to the spout also evaporate in the bottom of the dish rack, so you’ll have dry dishes no matter what ... The ability to dry my dishes in an organized manner is a huge upgrade in my household, and there’s no way I can go back to the old standard drainer again."

If you find yourself eating rice multiple times a week (or day), you might as well bite the bullet and invest in a rice cooker. It certainly beats stirring your rice as it boils on the stove! Contributor Erin loves this teensy machine in no small part because it's perfect for kitchens with limited surface area and households with a small number of people. "The pot can hold up to 2 cups of your grain of choice, making it the ideal size for anyone cooking for one or two," she wrote. "I don’t want to have an abundance leftover because I’d rather have freshly made rice over reheated rice. This mini rice cooker completely solves that issue." You'll also enjoy the machine's "set it and leave it" capability, which allows you to accomplish other tasks while your rice cooks.

While you enjoy your rice, waffles, and other Dash-created eats, your dogs have to eat, too! Commerce SEO editor Sarah swears by this super-cute treat maker, which bears a striking resemblance to the aforementioned waffle maker. With this gadget, you can feed your picky pups biscuits you know they'll like. "It’s one of the easiest ways I’ve come across to make adorable homemade dog bones without any nasty ingredients," she wrote for our sister site. All you have to do is preheat the device and fill the bone slots with the batter of your choice, and you'll have tasty snacks for your discerning dog in no time.

Perhaps you're looking to avoid store-bought fruit juices, which usually contain a scary amount of added sugars. The great news is, you don't have to invest in a large or expensive juicing machine. Simply pick up Dash's manual citrus juicer, which comes with a 20-ounce easy-pour pitcher. Kelsey said it's a must-have for making summer margaritas, adding that she likes it so much, she bought a few for her friends. Just imagine all of the refreshing cocktails and lemonades you can squeeze out of this handy gadget.

How cute is this rapid egg maker? Jada owns the version that can hold up to six eggs, though she recommends the dozen-egg version for larger households. "Like you’d expect from the name alone, it cooks eggs in just about any way you can imagine — well, maybe except scrambled," she said. "There are a few attachments for extra versatility — you can boil the eggs to your preference, as well as poach them without the mess, and even make an omelette, too." And, as is the case with most of Dash's products, the egg maker comes in a variety of fun colors.
