Savory dips are my jam, which means I stopped in my tracks when I saw this gorgeous, easy Philly cheesesteak dip from A Little Spice Jar. There’s cheese! And cream cheese! And steak! And even more cheese! And I can’t wait to make this and buy a huge bag of chips and go to town. Or you know, just eat this straight with a spoon.

Start the recipe by sautéing diced green peppers and onions, and then add seasoning (Italian seasoning, garlic powder, etc.). Prepare the steak while that cooks down. The recipe developer says you can used leftover cooked steak or deli-sliced roast beef.

Now it’s time for the creamy part of the dip. Add cream cheese to a large bowl and mix with a hand mixer for about 30 seconds. Add mayo, sour cream, and red wine vinegar to the cream cheese and whip to combine. Add in the sautéed veggies and steak and put it into a cast iron skillet or a 9×9-inch baking dish coated with nonstick cooking spray. Top it with a bunch of shredded provolone cheese so that you get a browned crust on top and pop it into the oven.

I’m not a sports-ball person, but this dip would be perfect for All-Star weekend. Binge-watching a new TV season is my sport of choice, but any weekend activity at home would score a point or three for this.
