This recipe leans on the classic sangria combination of red wine and brandy. Blackberry Red Wine Sangria

Makes: 6–8 drinks

Ingredients:
750 ml [yellow tail] Cabernet Sauvignon
6 ounces Torres brandy 10 year old
2 ounces simple syrup
1 naval orange, sliced
1 cup blackberries
1 Gala apple, chopped
2 cinnamon sticks
1 liter lemon soda water

Instructions:
1. In a large pitcher, combine all the ingredients except the lemon soda water.
2. Place sangria in the refrigerator to steep for at least 3 hours or up to 1 day in advance.
3. When you’re ready to serve, add the soda water to the mix and pour over ice. Sprinkle ground cinnamon on top.

Watermelon Ginger White Wine Sangria

This adventurous white wine sangria blends the peach, melon, and vanilla flavours of a [yellow tail] Chardonnay with watermelon. Watermelon Ginger White Wine Sangria

Makes: 6–8 drinks

Ingredients:
4 cups cubed watermelon
3 limes, 1 sliced, 2 juiced
750 ml [yellow tail] Chardonnay
6 ounces tequila
2 ounces Cointreau
2 ounces simple syrup
2 cups ginger beer
Ice

Instructions:
1. In a blender, puree the watermelon cubes with the lime juice. Pour watermelon through a strainer into a large pitcher. Stir in the Chardonnay, tequila, Cointreau, simple syrup, and lime slices. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
2. Remove from the refrigerator. Add ginger beer and stir well.
3. Pour sangria over ice and garnish with watermelon balls.
