East Fork is Retiring Their Harvest Moon Glaze — Get This Best-Selling Mug Before It’s Gone for Good
It’s no secret that we have big love for East Fork around here, and for good reason. The bespoke pottery brand creates some of our favorite tabletop items, each with a handmade flair that gives it instant heirloom status. The colors are on point, too — from classic gray soapstone and bold lapis to a trendy, dusty prune. So it’s no surprise that, when there are new East Fork goodies to be had, we just can’t keep it to ourselves.
Earlier this season, the brand re-released their Third Wave Mug in the Harvest Moon shade (which pretty much screams pumpkin spice). Well, now is your last chance to score the mug (or any of East Fork’s other Harvest Moon and Soapstone pieces) before the brand discontinues these two beloved shades at 11:59 p.m. EST on Wednesday, October 13. So, if you’ve got your eye on the autumnal glow of Harvest Moon or the versatile blue-gray Soapstone, now is the time to make your move.
Handcrafted in their Small Batch Studio by resident potter Cade Hollomon-Cook, the Third Wave Mug is a close cousin to the brand’s iconic #TheMug they’ve become famous for. It’s shorter and squatter, with a 12-ounce capacity just like #TheMug, plus a full glaze dip and signature curvy handle. As with all of East Fork’s pieces, it’s microwave- and dishwasher-safe, made with a durable glaze that will look beautiful for years to come. The honeyed Harvest Moon hue — which was originally formulated by the brand in 2017 and returned to raves reviews this fall — will look just as beautiful displayed on your kitchen’s open shelving as it will staring in your Instagram shot.
Fair warning: If you want to get your hands on this mug (literally), you’re going to need to act fast. You can shop East Fork’s Harvest Moon and Soapstone colorways until 11:59 p.m. EST through Wednesday, October 13 until pre-order is turned off, so make sure to set an alert if you want to add to your East Fork collection. You can bet we are!
