One of Our Favorite Pottery Brands Is Launching Two Fall-Inspired Glazes — Here’s How to Get Them Before They Sell Out
East Fork has given us some incredibly lust-worthy limited-edition glazes over the past few seasons. There was the dreamy Prune, the mystical Lapis, and the earthy Soapstone. Now they’re getting us excited for fall with two brand-new colors that are perfect for plating up autumnal favorites: Say hello to creamy Panna Cotta and luscious Amaro! Although the collection will officially be available to shop on Sept. 13 at noon ET (MARK YOUR CALENDARS!), it’s likely going to sell-out within minutes, so if you have your heart set on either of these gorgeous tones, start building your dream shopping cart…like now.
While Panna Cotta comes from fall staples like buttery biscuits and slow-rising dough, the burnt terra-cotta-like Amaro takes inspiration from hard spices and the color of canyons. Both colorways will be available in the form of cake plates, side plates, and dinner plates; breakfast bowls; larger everyday bowls; deeper weeknight serving bowls; soup bowls, ice cream bowls; popcorn bowls, mixing bowls; and adorable bitty bowls. The collection will also include the sweet toddler cup, juice cup, and of course, the iconic #TheMug. If you already own East Fork pieces in different glazes, then you probably know the colors pair beautifully, so you can mix-and-match to create the ultimate tablescape.
Besides launching new glazes, East Fork is restocking pieces in Eggshell and Morel, the core colors that have been part of their launch collection and are rarely ever in stock. Like all East Fork pottery, Eggshell, Morel, Panna Cotta, and Amaro are dishwasher and microwave safe, so while the pieces look delicate, they’re incredibly durable.
Since East Fork’s ceramics are a true labor of love, keep in mind that they won’t ship for about eight weeks, since everything is handmade to order. But that means they’ll arrive just in time to brighten up your holiday table. We can already picture a slice of turkey against a deep, rust-colored Amaro plate, or a piece of pumpkin pie served on the mellow Panna Cotta.
