Dunkin' Summer Lineup

Summer is my favorite season of the year. It’s not only a time when there’s more sunlight and warmer weather, but a great excuse to enjoy cooling beverages like smoothies or drinks made with refreshing citrus. But sometimes, this bright and sunny season feels forever away.

While the official beginning of summer is still some weeks away, the season has already arrived at Dunkin’. New menu additions — including the Mango Pineapple Dunkin’ Refresher, Cake Batter Signature Latte, Tomato Pesto Grilled Cheese, and Cornbread Donut (also available in Munchkins) — are all now available.

Personally, I’m always looking for a refreshing drink during the summertime. It’s often just so hot and muggy out, and I’m in constant need of a way to cool down. The sweet and fruity Mango Pineapple Dunkin’ Refresher delivers, with its tropical fruit flavors that are then blended with either green tea, coconut milk, or lemonade. Yum!

The Refreshers also come in Strawberry Dragonfruit and Peach Passion Fruit flavors and if you’re a member of their reward app, DD Perks, you can nab yourself one medium-sized option for free.

As much as some of us crave those fruity drinks during the warmer months, for those just looking for coffee, the new Cake Batter Signature Latte feels almost like a birthday cake reimagined as your favorite morning sip. This iced latte is made with espresso that is then given a dose of cake batter flavor before being topped with whipped cream, a mocha drizzle, and rainbow sprinkles. This drink is more dessert than coffee, so you may want to enjoy it after your meal rather than before.

Speaking of meals, there’s some new food on the menu, too. The Tomato Pesto Grilled Cheese is served hot and made with oven-roasted tomatoes, a nut-free pesto spread, and melted white cheddar cheese nestled on top of toasted authentic sourdough bread. And of course, both the Cornbread Donut and Munchkins are made with a corn-cake base that sounds oh-so-delicious.

Because the return of an old friend is sometimes more exciting than making a new friend, Dunkin’ is also bringing back the fan-favorite Butter Pecan Iced Coffee and Sunrise Batch Iced Coffee, too. Whether you’re going for something new or sticking with what you know, you’ll definitely be in for a good time.

Sometimes it feels like summer is never going to get here, but Dunkin’ starting it early is a trend we can really get behind!
