Dunkin’ Partnered with E.L.F. Cosmetics to Release a New Makeup Collaboration and It’s Already Selling Out
America runs on Dunkin’. And, if e.l.f. cosmetics has its way, it will look good doing it. The affordable California-based beauty line — whose name stands for “eyes, lip, face” — has launched a limited-edition makeup collection inspired by Dunkin’s coffees and donuts. Eyeshadow, lip gloss, and lip scrub that smell like your favorite Dunkin’ bevvies and treats? Yes, please.
The e.l.f. X Dunkin’ collaboration is full of items with names that pay homage to Dunkin’s menu. There’s the Dunkin’ Dozen scented eyeshadow palette, with shimmery shades of pink, blue, yellow, and chocolate brown; a Donut Forget Putty Primer; a Coffee Lip scrub (sugar-based + java-scented = no-brainer); the Glazed for Days sheer lip gloss duo featuring the brand’s iconic pink and orange colors; and a Strawberry Frosted with Sprinkles face sponge. The packaging is cheerful and bright, just like a box of munchkins.
Prices for the products range from $6 to $16 (the Classic Dunkin’ Stack Vault sold out at a whopping $75 and included all the items plus three makeup brushes that looked like straws and a reusable Dunks cup). The collection launched on elfcosmetics.com as a Beauty Squad exclusive for its loyalty program members, but all donut enthusiasts can buy the collection online on Ulta.com and in Ulta Beauty stores nationwide.
This isn’t the first time the cult beauty brand has joined forces with a food company. March 2021 found e.l.f. and Chipotle banding together for a limited-edition online-only collection inspired by ingredients on the Mexican grill’s menu (it sold out in 72 hours). It’s also not Dunkin’s only go at the beauty industry — it has its own Munchkin-flavored lip balm.
