When it comes to his oceanfront vacation home, for Dr. Dre, it ain’t nuthin’ but a “G” thang. But if you’re looking to call this property home or add it to your portfolio, you’ll need to shovel out more than just one “G” to get it.

The 57-year-old legendary rapper, record producer, and Beats entrepreneur is putting his Malibu mansion vacation home of more than two decades up for sale for a cool $20 million. If it sells, it’ll fetch a nice profit from its original 2000 purchase price of about $4.8 million.

Set on a nearly 7,000-square-foot lot and boasting 9,000-square-feet of living space, the three-level mansion earns a coveted spot as one the larger homes located on the billionaire-flooded Carbon Beach.

Views from this swanky early ‘90s estate are definitely front and center, as its soaring ceilings and walls of glass overlooking the Pacific command attention. Living large with open-concept spaces, the rooms flow into each other and create an expanse perfect for entertaining (can you imagine Dre’s guest list?).

With walls of ocean views and a seemingly endless countertop/prep area overlooking the living area (don’t worry — you can cook in private with a quick slide of the ridiculously long shutters), the kitchen is definitely a spotlight of the home. It’s elegantly outfitted in light woods, contrasting with dark stone countertops (peep the huge island) and premium stainless appliances. The room has several expansive openings that flow into a large dining area, complete with a partial banquette for cozy dining. The home also lists a primary bedroom with a fireplace, sitting area, and private balcony; a primary closet with a sauna; an executive office; recording studio; huge gym; and five additional guest bedrooms. You know, just in case a few of your guests are too tired to leave the beach and head back home after your housewarming party.

When it comes to selling, Dr. Dre’s already been there, done that, with this Pacific Coast Highway property, as it was listed once before between $11 and $12.5 million back in 2012 and occupied by then-wife Nicole Young during their contentious split. In addition to this home, Dre also owns two Calabasas mansions and a $40 million Brentwood estate.
