We’re less than a week away from Thanksgiving, and if you’re still planning your spread, I’m here to make it a little easier. I’ve got loads of advice on how to cook a turkey, recipes for the best sides, and all the deets on wow-worthy desserts. And if you’re feeling lost on shopping for an entire meal, especially on a budget, I’ve got a tip on where to start: Dollar Tree.

Personally, I’m kicking off my Thanksgiving prep with a trip to the discount variety store. Its shelves are often filled with sugar, flour, canned vegetables, and more staples for half (or even a third of) the price at other, more expensive grocery stores.

Dollar Tree doesn’t always have the cheapest option — that’s a tall order for any one retailer. So I visited the store to seek out the absolute best deals on the holiday essentials. These are the three you should absolutely snag this week.

1. Bama 9-Inch Graham Cracker Pie Crust, $0.75 for a 9-inch crust

As much as I love a homemade graham cracker crust, buying the sugar, graham crackers, and butter can add up quickly (as high as $10!). A premade crust is one of my favorite shortcuts — it’s almost as buttery as the homemade kind, and it is the quicker option by far. I picked up this one for just 75 cents and will pair it with a homemade banana pudding filling for a low-lift, high-reward dessert that my friends and family (and especially I) will love.

2. Bruce’s Yams, $1.25 for 15 ounces

Although yams and sweet potatoes are not the same thing, canned and candied yams as we know them in the States are actually sweet potatoes (similar to how pumpkin puree is actually squash). Either way, yams are the foundation for two of my favorite dessert-like sides: candied yams and sweet potato casserole. Although I prefer fresh, these canned yams make a surprisingly great substitute and a genius shortcut.

3. Spice Trader Brown Gravy Mix, $1.25 for 3 pouches

At my family’s Thanksgiving spread, we typically prepare enough to serve 20 to 25 people. And while we make as much gravy as we can, we always end up needing some extra reinforcement from the store-bought stuff. That’s why I’m grabbing a box of these brown gravy packets, which come with three (2-ounce) packs, for just $1.25.
