Who doesn’t love a good deal? Especially when it means buying a quality kitchen product for a low price. Thankfully Dollar Tree understands our desire for deals and is currently selling a kitchen item at a majorly discounted price that we think you’re going to want to get your hands on: a mini mandoline slicer.

This brilliant mandoline is just what you need for getting the perfect thin-sliced vegetables for your favorite dishes, like tangy cucumber salad, kale salad with quick-pickled watermelon radish, and classic pommes Anna. It can be an intimidating kitchen item to use (don’t slice your finger!) but with a little guidance on how to work the mandoline, you’ll be safely slicing cucumbers, apples, potatoes, and radishes in no time.

But here’s the real kicker: While this particular name-brand mandoline is sold on Amazon for around $10, you can buy it at Dollar Tree for just $1.25. While this kind of deal might seem a little too good to be true (can the product be any good if it’s that cheap?), shoppers are saying that this mini mandoline works very well for all of your thin slicing needs. “Now I need one,” comments one shopper. “I got one yesterday. I was shocked to see [it for] $1.25,” writes another.

Unfortunately, this particular item is not sold on Dollar Tree’s website, so you’ll have to hunt for it in your local retailer or order one on Amazon at a higher price. A trip to the Dollar Tree certainly would not go to waste, though; there are tons of kitchen goodies currently on shelves that you should also grab! We’re currently loving these $1 lemon serving trays, these floral LED spring candles, and these $3 stackable baskets perfect for pantry storage.
