Dollar Tree is a great place to stock up on items for all your organization needs. Binders, folders, bins, shelves, hooks — you name it, and it’s probably there at a steal of a price. But if you look a little closer, as many #CleanTok creators have done, you’ll see a world of untapped potential for repurposing one organizer for an entirely different use. Case in point? Dollar Tree’s tall two-lock container.

From book bins to flex trays, the discount store has an assortment of multipurpose products you can use to solve one common household goal: maintaining a tidy kitchen. Of all the nontraditional organization hacks, the $1.25 tall two-lock container for small-scale storage is my current favorite.

The container is ideal for cabinet and pantry optimization, especially when you get a few of them. At 6.4 inches by 4 inches by 3.7 inches, it’s got all of the must-have qualities for tight spaces: compactness, narrowness, and stackability. Choose from four translucent, jewel-toned colors — pink, orange, green, and blue — and enjoy the satisfying snap of its clear, lightweight lid.

This clever steal is a creative solution for storing tea bags, which are arguably among the most tricky pantry staples to keep organized. (See a similar Dollar Tree index card holder do the job in the video above!). It’s also great for steepers, infusers, stirrers, and other tea-adjacent accessories. As for other kitchen purposes, it can be used to hold spices, condiments, candy, on-the-go snacks, trinkets, and more.

Even outside of the kitchen, the container is fair game to use all throughout the home. Dollar Tree site reviews gush about how well the containers stow away stationery supplies (stamps, index cards), crafting goodies (sequins, jewelry, beads) and personal care items (ointments, nail supplies). “I’m very happy with my purchase,” one review says. “They are bigger than I thought they would be and are well-made. Love the colors too!” This gem is also highly praised by teachers for organizing small classroom items.
