It’s my personal belief that a good shopping experience should always involve a surprise or two. There’s nothing like walking into a store with no expectations and leaving with the thrill of finding a major steal. And Dollar Tree is a great place for doing just that with its weekly product drops — especially when it comes to storage gems and organizing finds (hello, large woven storage baskets, stackable flex trays, and collapsible shelves!). They’ll have you running to your local store ASAP.

The discount chain’s latest $1.25 multi-use organizer is making shoppers do a double take. The clear desktop organizer tray — whether you get one or the set — is a no-brainer for anyone looking for a more organized kitchen, bathroom, office, or really any other space in the home.

The trays come in three options: a two-piece rectangular set (6 inches by 3 inches by 2 inches), a single square piece (6 inches by 6 inches by 2 inches), and a single rectangular piece (9 inches by 6 inches by 2 inches). Transparent and lightweight, the stacking organizers can be used to bring order throughout the kitchen — all tray designs are ideal for cluttered fridges, pantries, under-sink spaces, cabinets, and more — along with the rest of your home. (While it’s unclear if they’re made of food-safe plastic, you can definitely use them to store individually wrapped foods, like butter or cheese.)

Reviewers note that they’re the perfect size and are great for corralling like items in the fridge. They’re also super easy to rinse and wipe out as needed. Talk about a win-win-win!

While the trays are intended to act as desktop organizers, they clearly have much more potential. You can of course use them to hold notepads, paperclips, and pens, but they can also tame a variety of other common household items, like craft supplies and hair accessories, as shown in the video above. Because they’re clear, you’re able to see where everything is, which helps to keep your space extra tidy.

Love This Tray? Then You’ll Also Love …

You can hunt these $1.25 organizing gems down at your local Dollar Tree or order them online in quantities of 23, starting at $28.75. If you find yourself out of luck in-store (or you don’t have one near you!), don’t worry — you can find a comparable six-pack of clear organizers (and a handful of other packs) in a range of sizes on Amazon that ship directly to your door.
