Doesn't Everything Taste Better Outside?

This time-rusted iron table and chairs looks like it belongs in the French countryside, but it's actually a luxurious little set-up smack in the center of Paris...

I for one think that everything -- from morning coffee to a glass of chilled wine to dinner -- tastes better outside. In spring and summer, my tiny Paris balcony becomes another room, its two chairs and little bistro table a miniature alfresco café that's an escape from the tedium of the dinner table. I know one couple who spent a year and a half looking for a Parisian apartment with a terrace so they could entertain outdoors. Even without the luxury of a balcony or terrace or back yard, you can always bring your picnic to the park.

Do you like to eat and drink outdoors in fair weather? Or do you get bothered by wind and flies? Doesn't everything taste better outside?
