Bring the Magic Right to Your Kitchen with Disney’s New “Enchanted Recipes” Cookbook
Disney has tapped French chef and culinary author Thibaud Villanova to bring the magic of some of your favorite animated classics right into your kitchen. The new Enchanted Recipes cookbook, available May 24, is a collection of over 40 recipes from and inspired by Disney and Pixar movies.
The book boasts easy-to-follow recipes that call for everyday ingredients, thus making it a great opportunity for family bonding in the kitchen, or even inspiring an aspiring young chef to try things on their own. Included in the collection are recipes we’ve seen prepared by some of our favorite animated chefs on-screen, including Princess Tiana’s Gumbo and the Potato Leek Soup that made Remy famous in Ratatouille.
While there will be plenty of recipes from your favorite films to recreate, many of the recipes are Villanova’s own creations, inspired by films like The Incredibles, Moana, Beauty and the Beast, and Winnie the Pooh.
Since the release of his first Gastronogeek cookbook in 2014, Villanova has made a name for himself by creating recipes based on imaginary worlds. His releases include culinary tributes to Star Wars, Dragon Ball and popular French comic book Asterix. He also creates themed collections like Geek & Pastry, which includes recipes inspired by Lord of the Rings; Little Murders in the Kitchen which was inspired by some of the greatest film and literary detectives; and the Gastronogeek Cartoon Edition, which pays homage to French and American cartoons.
Those looking to create magic in the kitchen with the Enchanted Recipes cookbook can now preorder their copy on Amazon for just $29.99. It will also be available at book retailers across the country upon release.
