As a new homeowner, I’m always looking for cleaning hacks to keep my home looking as fresh as it was the day we walked into it. Whether it’s trying carbon cleaning cloths or learning how to actually clean the fridge, I’ve bookmarked all things cleaning and can probably tell you how to take your oven apart if need be. My favorite place to turn to for clean home inspo (and any other inspiration, for that matter) happens to be the internet — and the internet always delivers.

In recent #CleanTok news, TikToker @donnamendoza35 shared her hack for cleaning cabinets and doors, and the results are inspiring, to say the least. First, she uses a generous spray of Dawn Platinum Powerwash dish soap and a scrub brush to clean the door, removing any stuck-on grease or grime. After wiping away the dish soap with a wet microfiber cloth, they proceed to spray Orange Glo — the definite star of the show here — on the door to give it a reflective, high-gloss sheen. The result is astonishing (given the unexpected “recipe” of ingredients), and leaves the door looking like it’s been finished with varnish.

While this hack is probably best for unpainted wooden cabinets and doors, the results can’t be denied, and even painted doors could use a good clean now and again. If deep cleaning isn’t your thing, though, you can always keep your cabinets looking refreshed with a simple change of hardware

As for me, however, I’ll definitely be using this hack to keep my doors looking brand new and would love to see your results if you give it a try.
