Once the temperature rises and the sun finally sets after 5 p.m., it’s basically mandatory to get your grill going. Burgers, hot dogs, plant-based patties, and grilled veggies — there are so many delicious things to enjoy out on the patio or on the beach with your buds all summer long.

Are you in need of a new grill? If you are, I have just the thing. I present to you: the Star Wars-inspired Darth Vader grill that even doubles as a fire pit. I mean, look at the thing! It’s basically the nerdiest, coolest thing we’ve spotted on the internet this year.

The grill comes from Burned by Design LTD, a company that creates outdoor, custom wood burners. If you, like us, immediately oohed and ahhed over this incredible grill, you’ll want to start planning ahead if you’re seriously considering the purchase. The Darth Vader grill on Etsy is custom, so it’s made to order, and it’s based in the United Kingdom. So, it’ll take some time to arrive in the United States — but if you purchase it now it should be ready by May at the latest.

The grill itself is around 17.3 by 17.3 by 30.7 inches, and there are three chrome-plated swivel racks. To heat the grill properly, go with charcoal. When you do, you’ll see that the eyes and mouth sections on the grill happen to light up. HOW FREAKING COOL.

Each custom Darth Vader grill costs $725 plus shipping, so uh, no it’s definitely not what many would consider budget-friendly. BUT it might totally be worth the splurge if you’re getting your tax return back early or are just a die-hard Star Wars nerd. Consider the time and attention to detail that must go into making one of these grills, and the price makes a little more sense.

The maker behind this incredible grill doesn’t just stop at Darth Vader. There’s also a Death Star Wood Burner, a Storm Trooper Wood Burner, and a Boba Fett Wood Burner. None of them double as grills, but they’re equally cool.
