5 Dad Food Bloggers Share What They Want for Father’s Day
Dads are notoriously tough to shop for, but this year we decided to call in some inspiration. We reached out to five of the coolest dad food bloggers to find out what they’re asking for this Father’s Day, and you might be surprised at some of the things on their list. Take a peek.
1. Derek Campanile: Dad with a Pan
“One item I’ve been dying to have is a salamander — it helps get that perfectly melted cheese on my dishes. A broiler works too, but it just isn’t the same. Plus, it heats up the whole house. This would be a much-needed addition to my kitchen.”
2. Matt Robinson: Real Food by Dad
“I’d love any books or utensils to help me up my mixology game this year. Specifically a smoking gun! It infuses cocktails with a smoky flavor.”
3. Russ Crandall: The Domestic Man
“I’ve been dropping a few hints that I’d really love a new chef’s knife this year for Father’s Day. I’ve been eyeing the Misen chef’s knife. I figure it’s a win-win situation, since I get to try out a new knife and also gift my family with delicious (and perfectly cut) new meals.”
4. Stacey Little: Southern Bite
“I think I’d love to just have my family in the kitchen with me cooking together. It doesn’t really matter the meal — just us cooking as a family is one of my favorite things. It’s a special place for me! That said, I’ve been eyeing one of these baking steels for making pizza at home.”
5. Beau Coffron: Lunchbox Dad
“I can think of three things! I would love a subscription box to a meat company where they send an assortment of cuts of meat periodically throughout the year. I’d also love a good-quality Belgian waffle maker for when I’m on weekend breakfast duty! And a nice Vitamix blender. It’s something we’ve always wanted in our family to make smoothies, soup, and other tasty things!”
