Cracker Barrel Just Brought Back Its Popular Heat N’ Serve Meals — In Case Cooking Isn’t on Your Holiday Menu
Among America’s contributions to the culinary world, in my humble opinion, Southern cuisine is its shining star. The distinct blend of savory seasonings and spices and the overwhelming sense of comfort baked into each bite is a one-of-a-kind experience. While many of the best Southern restaurants are local hometown treasures, one restaurant proudly waves the banner on a mass scale: Cracker Barrel.
Whether it’s a sweet stack of hotcakes for breakfast or the crunchy goodness of fried chicken for lunch, Cracker Barrel feels like a proper Sunday dinner with family. And just like last year, you can bring a slice of that feeling home for the holidays.
The Tennessee-based company has announced the return of its famous Heat N’ Serve meals — plus a few new items to enjoy, too. Like years past, Cracker Barrel’s Heat N’ Serve meals are a complete holiday feast that can be warmed and ready to serve in three hours or less. The Holiday Ham Heat N’ Serve Family Dinner, Prime Rib Heat N’ Serve Family Dinner, and Holiday Ham Heat N’ Serve Feast are fan favorites that elevate your holiday party from fun to festive. And while desserts like the Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Pecan Pie, and Cinnamon Roll Pie are all making a return, the Apple Streusel Pie is guaranteed to become a holiday go-to, too.
For as little as $8.49 per person, you can pre-order a meal for 10 or more for pickup between December 21 and 28. As an extra incentive, if you schedule a pickup for December 22 or December 23, you’ll receive a free $10 bonus card when purchasing Heat N’ Serve Feast or a $5 bonus card with the Heat N’ Serve Family Dinner.
Also making its way onto the restaurant’s seasonal menu is a new Homestyle Chicken N’ French Toast family meal basket. The Southern treat combines the flavor of their signature homestyle chicken with their tasty French toast recipe, resulting in a dish bursting with so much flavor that it’s sure to become your new favorite.
So if you’re looking for a way to cut down on your time in the kitchen this Christmas, here’s your sign!
