If you’re on the hunt for a warm, comforting meal to serve your family this winter, look no further than this bowl of creamy polenta with baked chicken meatballs.

This recipe is ideal for a weeknight. The meatballs are baked, which means you don’t need to stand over the stove browning them. You simply combine the ingredients in a bowl, form the mixture into balls, and place the meatballs on a baking sheet before letting them do their thing in the oven.

The author gives instructions for making your own tomato sauce, but you could easily use your favorite store-bought version to save time. The most important thing is that you get it simmering on the stovetop so you can drop your meatballs in when they come out of the oven.

Served over a bowl of creamy polenta, this dish is seriously the food equivalent of a big hug.
