Could Sweet Potato Fries Be the Newest McDonald’s Menu Item?

Last month McDonald’s announced their move to use cage-free eggs and offer all-day breakfast, and now the fast food chain may have another winning idea up their sleeve: The addition of sweet potato fries to the menu.

McDonald’s has served sweet potato fries at a number of locations around the world, but never in the U.S.

Don’t get excited just yet, though — this potential new side is currently getting a test run at several Texas restaurants, so it could be a while before it hits menus nationwide.
