Costco Is Selling a Massive Heart-Shaped Cheesecake Just in Time for Valentine’s Day
Not sure what to get that special someone for Valentine’s Day this year? Or maybe you’re just looking to get something for yourself like I am? I’ve found just the thing: A massive, 3-pound chocolate-y cheesecake in the shape of a heart from Costco. I know, I know! We’ve officially struck gold. This dessert checks all the Valentine’s Day boxes:
- Is it chocolate-y? Check!
- Is it cheesy, and romantic, and heart-shaped? Double check!
- Is it not going to break the bank? Check! Check! Check!
There’s only one problem with this dessert: It’s hard to find. Posted on Instagram by Instagrammer @CostcoBuys, the cake was seen at a Costco store in Michigan, but it’s also apparently been in a few locations in Indiana. Before heading out to your local Costco, I would call to see if they have it in stock. Here’s hoping that it makes its way around the rest of the country!
If you are lucky enough to snag this cheesecake from Costco, you can do so for just $20. That’s a steal for a whole cake! But, if your local Costco doesn’t have the cheesecake in stock, there’s still hope: The Valentine’s Day treat is actually from Junior’s — a famous restaurant in New York that’s known for its cheesecake. SO if you can’t find the dessert at Costco, you can always buy it online from them (although it’s more than double the price).

If this special Junior’s cheesecake just isn’t in the cards for you, don’t fear – you can still get your sweetheart something else delicious and packed with sugar. And maybe some booze. Champagne truffles? Chocolate soufflé from scratch with some bubbly or red wine? Chocolate-covered strawberries? Let your imagination run wild. Of course, you can go to your nearby bakery and pick up a cheesecake or make your own cheesecake at home, drizzled with chocolate and topped with berries.
