Costco Finally Brought Back This “Favorite” $7 Snack — But Not For Long
Super Bowl Sunday will be here before we know it and while we don’t know who will be competing for the crown just yet, we do know there will be some amazing comfort food to eat while we watch the game. From pizza to chicken wings and nachos, you certainly won’t leave hungry. However, what’s a Super Bowl party without dip? Lucky for us, Costco is now selling a viral dip that will put your guacamole and queso in the backseat.
According to @laoc.eats on Instagram, you can now find Toom Original Garlic Dip at your local Costco warehouse. Concocted with fresh garlic, lemon juice, canola oil, and sea salt, the spread is vegan, gluten-free, keto-friendly, and kosher-certified.
You can dip veggies, spread the dip on a sandwich, or dunk pizza and french fries. One Instagram account, @whyidocardo, decided to spread the dip on chicken and hasn’t looked back. “I bought two right off the bat and I’m dangerously close to finishing my second one right now!” they wrote in the post’s caption.
The word “toom” means “garlic” in Arabic and mimics Lebanese toum sauce, crafted with garlic, oil, salt, and lemon juice. Toum sauce is often served with chicken or shawarma, but you can get creative in the kitchen by using it as a marinade for vegetables or a makeshift salad dressing.
You can snag a 16-ounce tub for $7.49 at your local Costco, or if you can’t find it there, you can also grab an 8-ounce container at Aldi for $4.89. (Aldi is also selling the dip in a Buffalo Garlic flavor.) The dip is only available for a limited time, so if you happen to spot it, do yourself a favor and snatch a couple while you can.
