Although no bakery can do everything perfectly (because we all have our flaws), Costco’s track record is at least strong enough to have earned itself dedicated social media accounts that report on the newest finds in the Costco bakery section. The latest hot bakery item to have the internet and fans everywhere talking? The warehouse’s Strawberries and Cream Cake. 

Spotted by Costco Buys, the new Strawberries and Cream Cake is available for $17.99 and weighs in just under a whopping 3 pounds. This behemoth of a cake features layers of strawberry filling and sweet whipped cream, and judging by the reaction from fans online, it’s an absolute sweet-tooth killer. 

“I’ve literally already eaten two slices today…oops,” exclaimed the admin behind Costco Buys, while another user chimed in, “We bought it today and it’s half gone! Delicious!”

With such a high level of fandom, it makes you wonder how Costco keeps producing hit after hit. While not everything in the bakery section is meant for everyone, one thing is for certain, you would be hard-pressed not to find something that makes your mouth water and makes you want to grab at least three of them on the way out in the process. As the old saying goes, “you gotta break a few eggs to make an omelet,” and it seems as if Costco understands exactly what that means.
