When you're standing in the middle of an aisle filled with five-gallon jars of mayo, it may seem hard to believe that Costco has stuff that's small enough to fit into a Christmas stocking. But there are options aplenty! Some items are stocking-ready right from the start, while others are packaged in bulk and easy to break up. You just have to get creative!
Headed to the warehouse store to pick up cheese and veggie platters for your holiday party? Stock up on these little treats while you're there.
Note: Because each store varies in terms of inventory and offerings, your local Costco might not have the exact same things as mine, and prices may vary.
1. Contigo Thermal Travel Mugs, $19 for two
Divide them up to keep two people well-caffeinated on the coldest days. If you're shopping for kids, you can get a two-pack of adorable Hydro Pro Furry Friends Water Bottles for just $13.
2. Zipfizz Variety Pack, $28 for 30 tubes
Keeping on the hydration kick (so many people vow to drink more water in the new year!), these tubes are good for anyone who happens to dislike plain water. Open the pack and put a few tubes in each stocking.
3. Nonni's Almond Dark Chocolate Biscotti, $10 for 25
Pre-packaged to slip into stockings, gift a few and keep the rest near your coffee maker and you have a special little treat to enjoy on these cold December mornings.
4. Swiss Miss Holiday Hot Cocoa Tins, $13 for four
These 9.5-ounce tins couldn't be cuter — the set comes with containers made to look like snowmen, elves, penguins, and even Santa himself. If you have any left once stockings are filled, a single tin would be a good gift for your kid's teacher.
5. Ghirardelli Chocolates Peppermint Bark Squares, $12 for 20.99 ounces
Fancy chocolate that kids and adults alike will flip for, these little squares come individually wrapped, which means you can sprinkle a handful into each stocking.
6. Ferrero Rocher Hazelnut Chocolates, $13 for 21.2 ounces
The holidays don't seem complete unless a Ferrero Rocher (or seven) are enjoyed. While you're sprinkling those Ghirardelli chocolates, add a few of these into each stocking, too.
7. L.R. Rice Local Hive Raw & Unfiltered Honey, $11 for 48 ounces
This bottle is small enough to fit in a stocking, but it's still 48 ounces — so it's substantial. Translation: Make sure the stocking hanger is sturdy! Get this for anyone who loves tea.
8. Miu Silicone Baking Mats, $13 for three
Take these out of the package and roll them up (either all together or separately) with some tissue paper and ribbon, and you have a great gift for a baker.
