Costco’s New Summer Cookie Is So Good People Are Calling It “Dangerous”
If there ever was a moment to drop everything and head to Costco, the time is now. Why you ask? If you’re willing to brave the droves of last-minute Fourth of July shoppers, a sweet reward will be waiting for you: S’mores Cookies. The latest item to hit the shelves of the big box retailer’s famous bakery section takes what we love about the iconic campfire treat, and wraps it up into what looks to be a chewy, soft, and gooey cookie experience.
Originally spotted by Laura at Costco Hot Finds, Costco’s S’mores Cookies — loaded with marshmallows and chocolate — come in a 24-count box for $9.99. At this bargain price you basically have to stock up, especially when you consider how much people are raving about them.
Laura gave some pointers on how to really milk the campfire nostalgia out of these cookies. “I put one in the air fryer for a minute, and they came out so gooey and delicious,” she said before firmly stating, “These are dangerous.” One customer who has tried them added: “They are sooo good, especially heated up for like 25 seconds,” while another chimed in, “Not me watching this while at Costco! Let me turn back to the bakery.”
I don’t know about you, but these cookies will complete any July 4th dessert spread. While you’re scouring the bakery section for these brand-new cookies, check out some of the other bakery favorites including the popular Strawberries and Cream Cake and the unforgettable Confetti Cookies.
