Costco’s 3 Best Deals for the Month Will Help You Update Your Kitchen
Lots of people save their Costco runs for bulk groceries (hello, sweet 6.6-pound bucket of Nutella), or the occasional on-sale Vitamix, but most of the time all the other kitchen stuff gets overlooked. Which is a shame considering how many absolute gems the store has in stock. When Costco announced their monthly online-only sales for February, we got super excited about three deals in particular that will give your kitchen a makeover without a complete demo.
Here are our three favorite picks from the sale offerings (available now through February 25).
1. Hansgrohe Cento Semi-Pro Kitchen Faucet, $230 (was $300)
A faucet can make a huge difference in your kitchen. (Seriously, our Editor-in-Chief, Faith Durand, admits that choosing the wrong one was the biggest mistake that she made when renovating her kitchen.) Designers often call faucets jewelry for the kitchen and I totally get why. Change it out and, not only does your sink get new functionalities, but the space also looks a bit different. This one comes in two different finishes, has two spray modes, is easy to install, and features that pro-style gooseneck shape that’s just been getting more and more popular.
2. Daewoo Retro 0.7 CuFt 700W Microwave, $65 (was $80)
I can’t really say that a microwave has ever made me swoon before … except for this one! The retro design coupled with its fun blue hue makes me feel like I’ve traveled back in time to a 1950s diner. Get it now and add some color (and kitsch!) to your kitchen. This microwave comes with five power levels, a one-touch menu, and an auto defrost setting. It also has a timer and a child safety lock. And it’s super wallet-friendly.
3. Carmen Rug Collection, from $100 (was $130)
If I’ve learned one thing from the House Tours over at Apartment Therapy, it’s that most kitchens can benefit from a rug. This one has a casual vintage look and 16 unique colors that pull together the microwave and the faucet. The smallest size is 5-by-7-feet, so consider putting it under your dining table if it’s too big for your kitchen.
