When a popular snack makes a triumphant return to grocery store shelves you’re left wondering why it ever left in the first place… and how you can get your hands on it as soon as possible. Anyone who regularly shops at Costco can relate: items come and go — FAST! (We’ve spotted plenty of incredible new bakery items this year alone.) So when a good snack gains widespread attention, you better stock up when you see it because you never know if you’ll be able to find it again on your next visit. This was just the case for Reese’s Dipped Animal Crackers, which were released earlier this year — but then quickly disappeared from Costco shelves.

Spotted by Laura at Costco Hot Finds in a Dallas-area store, the chocolate and peanut butter-dipped crackers have had people’s attention since Reese’s first announced their arrival earlier this year. It’s unclear if the jumbo 24-ounce bags are only at select locations at the moment.

“These are AMAZING,” exclaimed one excited commenter, “that’s an insane deal for that bag. I paid almost $4 for a tiny bag at a truck stop (the only place I’ve ever found them).” “These are the best ever”, said another. Thousands more chimed into the Instagram comments, tagging their friends (“can one of y’all get these for me when you y’all go to Costco please n thank you 😍😍”), while others doubt their location will have them (“Haven’t seen them on the East Coast at all 😔”).

Reese’s Dipped Animal Crackers have creamy peanut butter on one side and milk chocolate on the other, with the iconic animal cracker crunch and flavor we all know sandwiched in between. For just $7.79, people are stocking up in preparation of them selling out. Keep an eye out this week as more locations are likely to see a restock, and here’s hoping you get to snag a bag for yourself. If you’re not near a Costco, you can still score a bag on Walmart, though at a premium for the convenience of shopping in your PJs.

While you’re making the trip to Costco, be sure to check out their newest summer cookie that people are saying is so good it’s “dangerous.” And if you happen to use a friend’s membership card, read up on how Costco is currently cracking down on membership sharing.
