It’s no secret that Costco is beloved by shoppers for many reasons, not the least of which is the store’s impressive and creative bakery. From cakes to pies, cookies to danishes, Costco reigns supreme in the land of delicious baked goods.

Among the countless sweet treats Costco has perfected are the store’s muffins, which are known for being delightfully oversized and undeniably tasty. So, it comes as no surprise that when shoppers caught wind of the new Blueberries and Cream muffins that quietly arrived on Costco’s bakery shelves, they couldn’t help but flock to their nearest store.

A fun twist on the classic blueberry muffin, the Blueberries and Cream muffins contain sour cream, which is often used in baking to add a rich, creamy texture. The muffins also have a streusel crumb topping, and, as you might expect, are filled with plenty of juicy blueberries.

To make matters just a little bit sweeter, Triple Chocolate Muffins debuted at Costco right alongside the new Blueberries and Cream variety. The Triple Chocolate Muffins are made from rich cocoa batter and filled with chocolate chunks and chocolate chips.

According to Reddit, the two new muffin flavors were first spotted in Texas, where one shopper noticed them setting up the day’s muffin display. Since then, Costco shoppers have been checking their local stores, not so patiently waiting to give the newest muffin varieties a try. Both varieties retail for $6.99 for a pack of eight, though prices may vary from one location to the next.

There’s no word yet as to whether or not these flavors are here for a limited time only or will become permanent fixtures on the Costco baked goods scene. For now, you’ll definitely want to keep checking your nearest Costco bakery so you don’t miss your chance to try these new flavors.
