Costco Now Has Mini Cinnamon Rolls You Can Just Pop in Your Mouth
Cinnamon rolls are amazing. This is not up for debate. They’re a warm, delicious breakfast or snack with creamy sweet icing and that gooey, doughy center with a burst of cinnamon goodness. Ugh — my mouth is already watering.
But a big cinnamon roll can be a commitment. You can’t just casually eat a massive cinnamon roll (I mean, you totally can, but you might be in a sugar coma afterwards if you’re not prepared). Plus, if you’re thinking of making your own smaller-sized cinnamon rolls at home, prepare to set aside a couple of hours for a tedious undertaking — it’s NOT easy to bake those cinnamon rolls to perfection.
This is where Costco comes in. Spotted by Instagram account @costcobuys, these mini cinnamon rolls are super cute and individually portioned to satisfy that sweet craving anytime, anywhere. “How yum do these El Camino bakery petite cinnamon rolls look? 😍😋,” the user wrote in the caption. “I can’t wait to try these!” SAME SAME!
The price is pretty good too! Each box costs $7.79, and there are two pounds and three ounces per container. Which is A LOT of cinnamon roll to enjoy. There are so many pricier foods for that same amount per bag in general, and when you consider how much a cinnamon roll pastry would cost at a restaurant or coffee shop, it could very well be almost seven or eight dollars for just one! And we know you’re not eating that cinnamon roll without something warm in your hands to sip it down.
And a tip? Try warming them up for 10-15 seconds, which will give them that fresh-out-of-the-oven feel! You can pair them with a cup of coffee, a hot cocoa, or even a spiked hot cocoa — they would taste great dunked into the warm beverage or just enjoyed alongside. So, when that urge hits, avoid the cinnamon roll at your local coffee shop or gas station and just snack on a couple of these bad boys, instead.
