Le Creuset‘s enamel cast iron cookware, especially the Dutch oven, is classic. It’s as versatile as cookware can get — it can be used for frying, braising, stewing, or making any of these cold-weather meals — and safe for everything from an oven to a stovetop. The pieces are known to be durable and retain and distribute heat well. This cookware is expensive, but it can last for generations and be a kitchen workhouse.

Given the quality, versatility, and stunning beauty of this cookware, Le Creuset has quite the intense fandom, inspiring everything from super collectors to fervent social media fanbases. So there’s no surprise that when a fan tweeted about Costco offering a mega set of the luxury cookware, that tweet quickly went viral — and the demand was so immediate, that the collection is now out of stock at many Costco locations.

The 157-Piece Le Creuset Set at Costco

The tweet, which has now gotten almost 20 million views, shared that Costco is currently offering a 157-piece Le Creuset set for $4,500. This set is so huge and heavy that it’s actually delivered on a pallet. “The ultimate cookware set from Le Creuset includes everything you need to set up your kitchen to be your own professional chef,” reads the description.

Commenters on the post were beside themselves, with both positive and negative comments about the deal. “Ridiculous price. Unbundle and buy the pieces you need,” reads one comment.

This is true; this collection is pretty much everything anyone would ever need, and maybe more. A person buying this 157-piece Le Creuset set may only use a fraction of the various Dutch ovens, casserole dishes, baking and roasting trays, six assorted frying and saucepans, two stockpots, gravy dishes, platters, and much, much more. There’s even a diningware set and items perfect for a wine collection. This collection has caused such a reaction, there’s already a Reddit thread with a flurry of comments.

Is it worth it? If you are an avid home cook and have space for a collection as large as this, you may want to go for it. Broken down, it works out to under $30 a piece. That’s a steal for these products, which often run in the hundreds per item. One very popular classic Le Creuset item, the Dutch oven, is often seen on its own at around $500. But $4,500 is still a whole lot of money to shell out for cookware, even if it is a sweet deal, so you may want to look into other discount cookware collections that are a bit more conservatively sized.

That said, if there’s a chef or baker on your holiday wish list, it just may be a dream gift idea this holiday. “Girls don’t want diamonds. Girls want the 157-piece Le Creuset set from Costco,” shares another commenter.

If looking for a set of Le Creuset cookware that’s not quite as massive but also a sweet deal, you may want to try this mixed 20-piece set, which runs for $1,049; comes in a variety of popular color options; and includes a 5 1/2-quart Round Dutch Oven, 3 1/2-quart Braiser, 3-quart Stainless Steel Saucepan, 12-inch Toughened Nonstick PRO Fry Pan, 4-quart Heritage Rectangular Casserole, a Set of 4 Mini Round Cocottes, 8 qt. Stockpot, and a Craft Series Utensil Set.

Or, you may want to consider going for some prime individual pieces to add to your collection. For example, right now Amazon has a 7.25-Quart Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven for $356 (the regular price is $460) or a  Classic Cast Iron Skillet for a sweet deal at  $100 (originally $120).
