No matter how prepared I think I am, I’m always running late. When I am trying to feed myself while also doing 10 tasks or running out the door, I need something filling, fast, and fabulous — and the Honey Smoked Fish Co. Salmon Stackers from Costco fit the bill. (Or maybe, more accurately, fit the fin?)

Although I don’t even have an active Reddit account, I still find myself scrolling through the /Costco subreddit page in search of new favorites. When I’m contemplating impulse buying a new snack at Costco, I usually google the name and “Reddit,” because there are a multitude of opinionated people ready to tell me if it’s worth it or not. As a single person who lives alone, I don’t want to buy a product in bulk if I don’t think I’ll like it.

What’s So Great About Honey Smoked Fish Co. Honey Smoked Salmon Stackers?

At first, the page I stumbled upon had some reviews saying the Honey Smoked Fish Co. Salmon Stackers were too salty. But as I scrolled down, I found that the rave reviews outweighed the negative ones — there were many comments about it being “mind-blowing” with “high-quality salmon” that made it someone’s “new obsession” and a “scrumptious little snack.” So I grabbed a pack of three stackers (all of which include honey-smoked salmon, lemon-chive spread, and rice crackers, which makes it gluten-free!), and was immediately in agreement with the Reddit fans.

I ended up using some extra crackers, as the ratios were off (a complaint from some stacker naysayers), but loved the way the gently seasoned cream cheese complemented the slightly salty, but mostly just flavorful salmon.

What’s the Best Way to Enjoy Honey Smoked Fish Co. Honey Smoked Salmon Stackers?

Use the crackers as dippers and then top with salmon, or use a knife to spread the cream cheese across the cracker evenly and then add as little or as much salmon as you’d like. You could even mix the salmon with the cream cheese and create an instant dip! These stackers are a choose-your-own-adventure snack.

I went through my three-pack in one week of needing quick breakfasts or hearty snacks with ample protein (26% of the daily value) and bought two more the next time I was at the good ol’ warehouse. They certainly stack up for me, and I hope you love them as much as I do so Costco keeps them in stock. (You can find individual packs at select retailers.)
