From the moment I started remixing ramen noodles into gourmet meals and spending hours watching cooking shows as a puny six-year-old, I knew I found a deep passion for food. While I realized — after taking on a two-year high school internship in an award-winning kitchen — that a…read more

If you’ve ever visited France or a French-inspired patisserie, you’re probably familiar with macarons — those delicate, airy treats made from almond flour and meringue, stuffed with delicious, creamy fillings like pistachio, raspberry, or chocolate. Despite their small size, these petite rounds are bursting with flavor. And just in time for Valentine’s Day, Costco has released a special pack of heart-shaped ones.

The next time you go shopping at Costco, you’ll want to keep your eyes out for heart-shaped macarons.

The French heart macarons are made by Tipiak, a Paris-based company that’s been crafting confections such as eclairs, crepes, and petit fours since the 1930s. Each pack contains 20 macarons in two flavors: strawberry and cream, and French vanilla.

While these desserts are not available on Costco’s website, you can spot them in stores. One pack of French Heart Macarons from the warehouse retailer costs $10, which makes each confection about 50 cents each.

On Instagram, @costcoguide, a creator known for sharing the latest Costco finds, posted about these macarons. The post quickly filled with comments from people praising the dessert. One user wrote, “Living for the heart-shaped finds,” while another said, “These are such great Valentine’s Day finds.”

This year, Costco is offering a variety of Valentine’s Day gems, including a heart-shaped ravioli filled with Parmesan, ricotta, mozzarella, and asiago. One pack of this Italian pasta is priced at $9.99. Once you get your hands on the ravioli, you can top it with a homemade Alfredo, pesto, or Bolognese sauce

If you spot these tasty finds at Costco, we recommend grabbing both. You can serve the four-cheese ravioli for a delicious Valentine’s or Galentine’s Day dinner, then finish with the heart-shaped macarons for a sweet final course — all for under $20.
