Do you have a Costco section you can’t skip? Many Costco fans would vote for the bakery, or the freezer section, or the snack aisles — yes, plural. And those are all great choices. But the department that gets the most love from me is the drinks. (And no, I’m not talking about the wine, although I totally get the appeal.)

No matter what, whenever I visit Costco I take a stroll past those stacked pallets and through the refrigerator cases to check out what’s in stock. It’s how I discovered one of my favorite local brands is available in bulk for way cheaper than what I’d been paying at other stores. Next time you’re at the warehouse, take a swing through the drinks section to see what you find. To get you inspired, here are three of my go-tos, plus one seasonal find.

1. Langers Organic Mango Nectar, $5.99 for 128 ounces

There’s an assortment of juices available in Costco, but in my opinion, the Langers Organic Mango Nectar is the star of them all. It’s refreshing with just the right amount of sweetness, the juice is from a family-owned company (since 1960), and it’s just $5.99 for a gallon-size jug. I sip it on its own — chilled or over ice — and use it as a mixer for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Add a splash to your seltzer or mix with vodka for the most satisfying two-ingredient cocktail. For a super-easy summer treat, just pour the juice into Popsicle molds and freeze.

2. Brew Dr. Organic Raw Kombucha, $11.99 for 6 (14-ounce) bottles

This kombucha comes in three flavors and, like the mango nectar, is good both on its own or as a mixer for drinks. My favorite flavor is Superberry: a tart, berry-forward blend with a floral hint of hibiscus. Island Mango is a sweeter, tropical-flavored option, and Clear Mind has a minty flavor with herbal notes of rosemary and sage. I also appreciate that the company is a Certified B Corporation, which means that they focus on sustainability and supporting the community in addition to making fizzy drinks. Look for the variety packs in the refrigerator cases.

3. Lucky Jack Nitrogen-Infused Cold Brew Coffee, $11.99 for 6 (10.5-ounce) bottles

Lucky Jack is based in sunny Nevada — my home state — and seeing this small, local brand in a big-box store was, well, energizing. Sold in packs of six, the cold brew is available in Lucky Jack’s Triple Jack flavor, which is the company’s original and most popular. It’s spiked with extra espresso and has plenty of depth. Some may be able to drink it straight, but I like to mix mine with water or oat milk, which (bonus!) makes each bottle go even further. Like the kombucha, you’ll find these in the refrigerator cases.

4. Grown Right Organic Strawberry Lemonade, $6.99 for 2 (96-ounce) bottles

This seasonal organic strawberry lemonade is essentially summer in a glass. In one sip, you taste the sweet-sour freshness of lemon and the bright burst of strawberry — and neither flavor competes with the other. It’s flavored lemonade at its finest. I recommend enjoying it ice-cold in a tall glass poolside while it — and summer — is still here.
