It’s hard to say goodbye to summer — with its beach days and BBQ evenings with family and friends — but the transition to cooler weather is made a lot easier by the holiday season, and all the exciting flavors and baked goods it has to offer.

Costco has been very much in the game, with an onslaught of seasonal treats like caramel apple mini cakes and pumpkin streusel muffins. The store’s latest bakery release is also sure to please a lot of fans. The news was shared on Instagram in a very exuberant post by @CostcoHotFinds: “Cranberry Chocolate Almond Bark in the Costco Bakery!!! This container that’s nearly 1.5lbs was 9.99 and worth every penny!!”

While the fall and winter season are known for a whole lot of pumpkin and apple, there’s also the festive flavors of winter, such as cranberries and chocolate, to enjoy. This bark pays tribute to that with a blend of dark bittersweet chocolate and white chocolate, as well as roasted almonds and dried cranberries. It comes in a 1.5-pound container that’s definitely built for sharing. This makes it a great snack idea for nibbling with eggnog while trimming the tree or wrapping presents.

Instagram commenters seem very intrigued by the new dessert option, with many eager to give it a try. “Walking in there now… must find,” read one comment, while another commented “Looks delicious.” Still, some wonder if it’s too much too soon. “I’m not ready for winter just yet,” reads another comment.

As Costco’s most popular seasonal items tend to disappear fast — especially in the bakery department — this is one to grab quickly!
