Costco Just Brought Back Another Bakery Favorite and It’s the Best $7 You’ll Spend All Week
A good cinnamon roll should not just be reserved for breakfast. I know my personal tastes tend to lean more towards savory for my first meal of the day, but those spirals of sweet and gooey cinnamon and brown sugar are truly hypnotizing any other time of day. I can usually finish off even the biggest cinnamon roll, with no issue or remorse.
Which is why I was ecstatic to see that Costco is bringing back the fan-favorite pull-apart cinnamon rolls to the bakery section. Are you as pumped as I am? You should be! The bulk warehouse has brought back a number of bakery favorites in recent weeks (like, these adorable mini carrot cakes). So why not keep the good times, err, rolling, and bring back this equally beloved (if not, more so!) baked good.
We got the intel from the @costco.hotbuys Instagram account who just posted about their return earlier this week, with the short, but sweet caption: Cinnamon pull apart rolls are back in my warehouse! Have you seen them yet?” Several other accounts also celebrated their long-awaited return as did commenters.
“Yay!!!! They were gone for waaaay too long!” one writes. Others let the heart eyes and flame emojis do their talking.
@costcobuys 😋 I am OBSESSED with the 12-piece cinnamon pull-a-apart bread from Costco! It’s just $6.99! #costco #cinnamonroll #dessertlovers ♬ Roxanne – Instrumental – Califa Azul
For the uninitiated, these cinnamon pull-apart rolls come in a round aluminum bakers tin, weighing in at a whopping 28 ounces for $6.99. Each tin comes with 12 individual cinnamon rolls baked together. It could totally pass for a cake (break out the birthday candles!), but there’s no slicing necessary. Think of it as a cross between cinnamon rolls and monkey bread; half the fun is being able to dig in and tear apart the buttery-tender brioche dough.
While the cinnamon rolls are delicious on their own, heating them up in the oven for five to 10 minutes at 350 really gives them freshly-baked vibes. (I’ve even been known to pop one in the microwave for 30 seconds when I’m really impatient).
One commenter did point out on the post that they weren’t able to find the cinnamon rolls at their local Costco in northern California, but since the release is brand new it might just take some time for the nation-wide rollout.
