Costco Just Brought Back Its Most Coveted Valentine’s Bakery Treat

In the 2003 film Love Actually, Hugh Grant, playing Britain’s Prime Minister, opines that, “If you look for it … love actually is all around.” This Valentine’s Day, however, love might actually be in the bakery section of your local Costco, as they bring back one of their most coveted treats for a limited time only.

Instagrammer CostcoHotFinds has the breaking news — the hand-dipped, long-stemmed chocolate-covered strawberries are back! These gorgeous jewel red strawberries are coated with dark chocolate and then drizzled with white chocolate, and they are a perennial favorite. Each year they reappear around this time, beckoning shoppers with promises of tasty romance. 

At just $12.99 for a dozen, they’re also an affordable Valentine’s Day gift for your loved one, friends, or, heck, yourself. But like some loves, these treats are fleeting, so you’ll need to hurry into Costco and snag them before they’re gone.

While you’re there, you can also snag some of these inexpensive treats to add to your Valentine’s Day gift, and toss in a package of the Kirkland Signature Crispy Chocolate Chip Cookies, too. Personally, if my husband came home with an armful of Costco goodies for me, he’d get a gold star for being the best Valentine ever.

Of course, if you miss them you can always try your hand at making chocolate-covered strawberries at home or, even better, try this recipe for chocolate-covered wafer cookies. But why not just let Costco take care of the hard work for you? Move quickly and you’ll pretty much be guaranteed to be a Valentine’s Day hero!
