Valentine’s Day arrives just in time to add some sparkle to a dreary time of year. There’s no better place than Costco to start your Valentine’s Day shopping. Whether you plan to spend the day with a special someone, family, or friends, the warehouse has you covered for savory and sweet treats perfect for the occasion.

And while sparkly diamonds, a romantic getaway, and dozens of red roses can all be purchased at Costco, I’ve put together a more affordable list of little luxuries to treat your loved one (or yourself!) to. Here are six red and romantic finds from Costco that are all $10 or less.

1. Godiva Dark Chocolate Ganache Hearts, $9.99 for 14.8 ounces

Chocolate is the ultimate Valentine’s Day sweet. These dark chocolate candies are an upgrade over the standard grocery store chocolate variety pack. The melt-in-your-mouth Godiva chocolates are filled with rich ganache and formed into the shape of a heart. Pop a few in your mouth and use the rest to top festive brownies for sharing.

2. Strawberries, $7.99 for 2 pounds

Ruby-red strawberries are fragrant again just in time for Valentine’s Day. Chocolate-dipped strawberries are a classic (and a kid-friendly) Valentine’s treat, or try something different by dipping them into chocolate fondue.

3. Mini Red Velvet Cakes, $9.99 for 6 cakes

These red velvet cakes are larger than a standard cupcake and smaller than a layer cake, making them the perfect size for sharing with your valentine. The red cake is light, fluffy, and covered in a swirl of Costco’s sweet cream cheese frosting.

4. Kirkland Signature Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips, $9.99 for 72 ounces

Nothing says “Happy Valentine’s Day” quite like a homemade dessert, and for that you’ll want chocolate chips. Luckily, Costco’s big bag of chocolate chips are some of the best-tasting chips I’ve ever had. I recommend using them for these chocolatey-Costco dupes, rich chocolate mousse, or baking cream cheese brownies.

5. Fresh Live Mussels, $0.99 per pound (about 5-pound package)

Making dinner at home is more romantic than jostling for a reservation on one of the industry’s busiest nights of the year. Some couples prefer a steakhouse vibe (Costco has you covered here too!), but a bowl of steamed mussels in a buttery wine sauce with crusty bread makes my heart flutter.

6. Gefen Organic Beets, $7.49 for 3 (17.6-ounce) packages

On Valentine’s Day, make it a point to eat something pink or red for every meal of the day. Start with a pale pink smoothie for breakfast, lobster tails for dinner, and a ruby-hued beet salad for lunch. These beets are recipe-ready, as they are already cooked and peeled. Simply slice into wedges or rounds and toss them with your favorite vinaigrette, some soft cheese, and leafy greens.
