These Are the 7 Costco Groceries I’m Buying on Repeat Right Now
Even though I’m shopping for one, Costco has become one of my go-to places to stock up on groceries. Yes, everything is sold in bulk — but I’ve managed to reduce my grocery bill since becoming a member four years ago. I even found a way for my membership to pay for itself!
I always know that I’ll uncover something fun during every trip. Recently, I went to the warehouse to scope out the latest items to hit shelves. I found flavorful meal shortcuts, store-brand staples, and, of course, delicious snacks I can feel good about (I’m a nutritionist, and that’s important to me!). You’d be hard-pressed to find many of these groceries anywhere else at this price — or at all. Let’s take a look!
1. Clovis Farms Organic Super Smoothie, $10.99 for 6 (8-ounce) bags
I’m big on easy meal prep — and so is this 48-ounce bag of produce. The mix of organic strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, kale, spinach, and bananas are portioned into six ready-to-use packs that make morning smoothies a snap. Empty a pack into the blender, add your milk of choice (mine’s kefir!), blend until smooth, and drink up. It’s an easy way to start the day and can double as a sippable snack during a busy workday.
2. Harvested For You Sprouted Pumpkin Seeds with a Touch of Sea Salt, $10.48 for 22 ounces
These salty seeds go quickly at my local Costco, so I always stock up when I see them. They add a delightful crunch to oatmeal, yogurt, and salads. I also snack on them straight from the bag. Because they’re not overly salty, they’d be a great addition in homemade granola, snack bars, ice cream, and more. Because the bag is so big and it might take a while to get through it, I like to store the seeds in the fridge to help them stay fresh.
3. Kirkland Signature Mixed Nut Butter with Seeds, $6.99 for 27 ounces
Packed with almonds, cashews, and pumpkin, chia, and flax seeds, this nut butter is super creamy and without any additives. Use it in smoothies, for sandwiches, as a sauce, or anytime you’d reach for your favorite nut butter. Like the pumpkin seeds, this mixed nut butter comes and goes fast, so stock up when you can.
4. Nutty & Fruity Organic Dried Jackfruit, $7.48 for 20 ounces
While it’s often used as a meat substitute, I’d never seen dried jackfruit on shelves. Since spotting it, though, it’s become a regular in my cart. Made with just one ingredient (organic jackfruit), it’s a great alternative to other dried fruits because it has a natural sweetness that’s not overpowering. It’s wonderful to snack on throughout the day.
5. Purely Frozen Organic Riced Cauliflower, $9.99 for 4 pounds
In the past, I haven’t been able to finish a giant bag of cauliflower rice without it ending up with freezer burn (or clumped together bits of cauliflower). But then I found this certified organic riced cauliflower, which comes packaged in four 16-ounce packs. And with that, my freezer-burn problems melted away. I add these to my morning smoothies, use it in place of rice, or make a 50/50 mix with rice or other grains to up the amount of veggies in my meals.
6. Tattooed Chef Organic Riced Cauliflower Stir-Fry, $8.99 for 4 pounds
Another cauliflower rice find! This product is great if you’re new to using riced cauliflower, love dinner shortcuts, or both! The mix of organic frozen veggies — peas, corn, red bell peppers, and, of course, cauliflower — is pre-cooked, which means all I have to do is heat the contents of one of the 12-once bags with some warmed oil in a pan and top it with whatever protein I feel like having (like a fried egg) and dinner is ready.
7. Inno Foods Dark Chocolate Coconut Keto Nuggets, $10.99 for 16 ounces
I’m a big dark chocolate fan, so I was excited to give this snack a try. Made with organic dark chocolate, quinoa, coconut flakes, and pumpkin seeds, I reach for this bag when I want a sweet snack during the day. If you like crunch, these bites will not disappoint.
