Costco Is Now Selling a German Beer Advent Calendar (and Yes, We Need One!)

Advent wine, Champagne, and chocolate calendars are popping up everywhere to help you get a head start on the holiday festivities. And the latest to arrive? A beer calendar, which you can find at Costco, that has 24 amazing cans to celebrate the season.

Instagrammer @Costco_doesitagain saw the Kalea’s Brewer’s Advent Calendar calendar and posted a photo. The advent calendar includes 24 different types of German beers behind each door. All of these beers come from small breweries, so you can’t find them in major retailers (read: they’re pretty damn special). And if you’re a huge beer fan, this calendar is definitely going to give you some unique, rare picks you won’t be able to find elsewhere. 

With this calendar you can sip on cool, interesting beers from small-craft brewers, learn about them, and feel super knowledgeable when chatting about fancy beers with your buds. It’s a great way to show off. 

It’s $59.99, which might be a lot for a calendar, but a beer calendar with 24 special options you can’t grab at the supermarket? It seems like a worthwhile investment to me! Besides, put it in perspective of what you’d typically spend on four six-packs at the supermarket (and on generic beer); it doesn’t seem that much different, and these have super-fun packaging and can’t be experienced too often.
