Cinnamon Toast Crunch-Flavored Bugles Are Hitting Shelves Soon
Everyone loves a good snack. For most people though, there’s a divide as to whether their noshing tastes lean more toward the sweet or salty side of things. For those of us who love a little of both, however, it’s always fun to find new snack options that appeal to both sweet and salty tastes.
General Mills’ Cinnamon Toast Crunch has long been a crowd favorite, and they aren’t a stranger to switching things up a bit with new innovations. From last year’s collaboration with Krispy Kreme to a tasty creamy cinnamon spread, the brand is always dishing something new for us fans to fall in love with and their newest release is no different.
The new Cinnamon Toast Crunch Bugles are a mashup of two nostalgic treats and deliver a fun new spin on two of American’s favorite snacks of the past. Featuring cone-shaped Bugles that are topped with a dusting of Cinnamon Toast Crunch’s Cinnadust, this is one collaboration you didn’t expect, but will be very thankful for.
Of course, Bugles are generally considered to be a pretty savory snack, so the addition of the Cinnadust adds a rather cinnamon-y, sweet flavor, making it a match made in snack heaven.
For those not familiar, the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cinnadust was launched just a few years ago as a fun way to add that distinctive Cinnamon Toast Crunch flavor to just about anything. While that may initially have been considered as an addition to sweets such as ice cream or baked goods, this new Bugle-based product has me considering the other savory-like goodies I can create with just a sprinkle of the desirable topping.
In the past, Cinnamon Toast Crunch-flavored innovations have included Sugar Cookie Toast Crunch, Apple Pie Toast Crunch, and even the spicy CinnaFuego Toast Crunch, but this new mashup is taking the mingling in a whole new and exciting direction. And I, for one, can’t wait to give it a try myself.
Cinnamon Toast Crunch Bugles can be found at convenience stores for a suggested price of $2.99. There’s no telling how long they’ll be on shelves though, so you may want to grab yours soon!
